Ponnam Prabhakar on fast over medical college demand

Congress leader and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar today launched a 'fast unto death' demanding a government medical college in Karimnagar.
Prabhakar said that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had promised to establish a medical college in the town in 2014.
Even after three years no steps have been taken to set up the college here, while a medical college was announced for Siddipet district last year, he said.
