Poornatrayi Jayaprakash honoured

: Sanskrit music composer Poornatrayi Jayaprakash was today honoured by Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, for his outstanding contributions in music composition in connection with 'Sanskrit week' celebratins 2015.
Jayaprakash was presented with a medal and a citation, a release said here today.
Jayaprakash has composed a number hymns praising Lord Poornathrayeesa, the presiding deity of famed Tripunithura temple at Ernakulam district.
Cultural programmes and Veda Sadas (meeting of vedas) were also among the programmes held as part of the celebrations.
