The 24-year-old actress, of "Balika Vadhu" fame was found dead at her home on April 1, in what appeared to be a case of suicide.
The reason for the extreme step is not yet known, but Pratyusha was reportedly facing problems in her relationship with Rahul, who is a TV producer.
Arbaaz recently hosted the reality TV show "Power Couple", which featured the couple as contestants.
"She was very vibrant. Rahul and Pratyusha were young and new in their relationship, so they had their little moments, ups and downs, as you could see on the show. They looked very much in love," Arbaaz told reporters.
"She was a very lovely girl and they were doing well on the show. In fact, in the first week they were on top. It's (Pratyusha's death) a very tragic moment," he death.
The actress' last rites were performed yesterday.
The 48-year-old "Dabangg 2" producer said he was saddened by the news of her death.
Arbaaz was speaking at the launch of '3AM Car Care'.
The actor, however, chose not to speak about his recent separation with wife Malaika Arora Khan.
When he was asked about his younger sister Arpita's new born baby, Arbaaz said, "The baby is fine and healthy. That's about it for personal life questions.
