When the bikes collided, Seema (22) fell down and a truck ran over her, while her husband Ramsevak (38) and daughter Roshini (6) were critically injured yesterday, police said.
Police have denied that their bike was involved in the accident, but onlookers claimed that two police personnel were riding the bike involved in the mishap.
All three were rushed to hospital where Seema was declared brought dead while Ramsevak and his daughter were stated to be in serious condition.
According to the police, Chandrashekar (49), a resident of Panki area was returning home after shopping when his bike got hit by a truck yesterday. He succumbed on his way to hospital.
Both the bodies have been sent for postmortem and police probe is on in both the cases.
