The president will visit the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad upon his arrival, after which he will leave for Mehsana where he will attend a programme at Simandhar Swami Jain Temple on the occasion of Guru Ashish Mahaparv.
Governor O P Kohli, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel will accompany him, according to an official release here.
On September 4, Kovind will visit Jasdan in Rajkot district where he will address a gathering after attending the foundation stone-laying ceremony for Link-4 of the ambitious SAUNI irrigation project.
