President Ram Nath Kovind on 1 day visit to Kerala tomorrow

President Ram Nath Kovind will arrive here tomorrow on a one day visit to Kerala, his first to the state after assuming office, to attend a function at Mata Amritanandamayi Math in Kollam district.
Kovind would launch various welfare programmes initiated by the Math, an official release said.
Governor Justice (retd) P Sathasivam, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his cabinet colleagues would receive the President on his arrival at the Air Force technical area of the airport in the morning, it said.
After attending the function at the Math at Amritapuri, the President would return to Delhi in the afternoon.

The function has been organised as part of the 64th birthday celebrations of spiritual leader and the Math founder Mata Amritanandamayi, popularly called 'Amma'.
