Stating this, PAU Director (Seeds) T S Dhillon, said the rate of TL/certified seed of WH 1105 has been cut by Rs 500 to Rs 2,500 per quintal from Rs 3,000 a quintal.
The rates of foundation seed of HD 2967 and WH 1105 have been eased to Rs 3,200 per quintal from Rs 3,750 and to Rs 3,200 per quintal from Rs 5,000 respectively, he informed.
Apart from these varieties, wheat varieties namely PBW 677 and HD 3086 are also available for purchase at research farms, seed farms, Krishi Vigyan Kendras and Farm Advisory Service Centres of PAU, he said.
