Prince George, the third in line to the British throne, today joined a distinguished list of celebrities and politicians on 'Tatler' magazine's list of Britain's Best Dressed for 2018.

The five-year-old royal made it to the coveted 30-strong list, to be published by the UK magazine next month, alongside mother Kate Middleton and aunt Meghan Markle as well as great grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

The young prince is praised for his wardrobe of shorts, long socks and sleeveless jumpers as "Christopher Robin chic", in reference to the children's character created by A A Milne as part of the Winnie-the-Pooh stories.

This is not the first time the young royal's sartorial style has been feted, as he appeared in GQ's Top 50 Best Dressed list in 2015 as well.

His style is no doubt highly influenced by his father Prince William and mother, Kate, who also finds a place on Tatler's list this year.

Topping the feature is the Queen, who is praised as "the ultimate power dresser" for her "bright block colours" and floral prints. The royal family dominates the top 10, with Meghan Markle, the new Duchess of Sussex, among the new entries.

The magazine notes: "Prince Harry's Californian bride blew us away with her Givenchy wedding dress and has redefined modern royal style with every subsequent appearance."
