Principal and teacher arrested for molesting minor student

A principal and a teacher at the Dadar-based Stephen High School For The Deaf And Aphasic have been arrested for allegedly assaulting and molesting a minor student, the police said today.
Principal L Reddy and teacher D Patil were arrested today after a complaint by a minor student, Deputy Police Commissioner Dhananjay Kulkarni told PTI.
According to the Dadar police, the victim was beaten and molested in the school's premises four days ago. Through her family members, the victim approached the police yesterday and an FIR was registered at the Dadar police station.
"After conducting an inquiry, the principal and teacher were arrested," the DCP said.

The police suspects that the accused may have molested other students as well.
The accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
