"Previously slated to take place in Bengaluru, the semis and the final of the league changed its destination to Mumbai in a gesture to honour the fantastic set-up of NSCI and the rousing welcome that the city's sports fans and celebrities extended to the league's inaugural leg," the League organisers said in a media release.
The semifinals will be played back-to-back on August 29 and after a day's gap, the final will take place on August 31.
"Mumbai provided us with the perfect launch pad for the league and by hosting the finale here, we are sure to get a befitting farewell as well," said Charu Sharma, MD of league promoters, Mashal Sports.
"Though we are sure that Bengaluru would have left no stone unturned to make the final a grand affair, we wanted the league to come a full circle, reaching the pinnacle where we began," he added.
