"The probe into scams during the previous Mayawati regime is underway. Those found guilty will not be spared. There has been no laxity while conducting the probe. Such probes take time," he told reporters here.
On Muzaffarnagar riot victims, Shivpal said they were were satisfied with the initiatives taken by the government for their rehabilitation.
Presenting the riot victims before the media, he said they were satisfied with the steps taken by the government but alleged some persons were conspiring against the SP government to defame it.
"Our government wants all the villages to be like Saifai", he said.
