Dalveer Singh told news persons that he would not only be raising the issue in the ongoing assembly session but he would also be pressing for a regular audit report following widespread allegations over the issue of appointment of middlemen for arranging entertainment programmes.
"This year another gross irregularity was the failure of district authorities to hold the annual general body meeting of the management committee for reviewing all budget provisions," he claimed.
For more than a century it has been attracting handicrafts from different parts of the country apart from exhibits of modern technology and agriculture.
In the past couple of years there has been a marked decline in the participation of outside handicraft elements following allegations of mismanagement and harassment of participants and traders.
