"The Kerala police team has arrived and started investigations today", Malda District superintendent of police Prasun Banerjee said here.
The minors who were taken from the villages of Chanchol were taken by two persons on the pretext of giving them education in religious schools in Kerala on May 23.
When the police in Kerala's Palakkad station saw the boys loitering on the platform on May 25, they caught two men and the boys were latter brought back to their respective villages after being produced at a juvenile court.
The Kerala police team will try to unearth whether there are any racket involved in sending children to the state from the district.
