Prohibitory orders in Hyderabad ahead of by-elections

Hyderabad City Commissioner of Police Anurag Sharma who imposed prohibitory orders under section 144 CrPC prohibited assembly of five or more persons, every kind of procession, dharna or public meetings.

Police have also prohibited individual/groups of individuals from making any speech, which is likely to create religious animosity between different communities.

The move, is also seen as preparations of the Hyderabad police to deal with the situation in view of Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy
