Patna police pasted property attachment order against builder Anil Singh at a noted hotel and a business complex, police said.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Patna Range, Shalin, told PTI he reviewed all the 13 pending cases against the builder today.
"During the review of cases, I found connivance and dereliction of duty on the part of a few policemen in regard to cases against the builder and ordered departmental proceeding against two Sub-Inspectors," Shalin said.
On April 29, a video clipping showed a police team headed by a DSP rank officer helping associates of the builder evict dwellers from a temple on Exhibition Road near Gandhi Maidan police station.
The policemen also assaulted a woman protesting against the eviction which was captured on cameras.
The National Commission for Women has sought a report from Bihar police chief P K Thakur on the incident.
