PSI caught for accepting Rs 5000 in bribe

A sub-inspector attached with Korchi police station was caught while accepting bribe of Rs 5000 by ACB today.
The sub-inspector, identified as Anil Chadure, had allegedly demanded illegal gratification of Rs 20,000 from the complainant after some missing solar energy plates were found at the latter's residence, the ACB said, adding the matter was finally settled for Rs 5000.
Following the complaint, the ACB laid the trap and caught the PSI.
