He was in Jammu as part of the 10th annual edition of the SaMaPA Aalap festival, being organised by the Sopori Academy of Music and Performing Arts in collaboration with department of tourism Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Arts, Culture and Languages and state department of Information and Public relations.
On the third day of the festival, the 63-year-old legendary Mohan Veena exponent from Jaipur performed at K C Public School.
The winner of several National and international awards like the Grammy, Padma Shri and Tansen Samman among others, Pandit Bhatt, is the disciple of the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar.
In Jammu, he played Raga "Nat Bhairav" starting with "Aalap" and "Jod" followed by compositions in "Vilambit" and "Drutlaya Teentaa".
Last night, he also performed at the Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI), Vijaypur, Samba.
