Public holiday in 3 poll-bound constituencies

Tamil Nadu government today notified November 19, the day of polling in Thanjavur, Aravvakurichi and Thirupparankundram constituencies, as a public holiday for the areas falling under the three Assembly segments.
In a notification, the government said all employees who are voters in areas falling under the three Assembly segments should be given paid holiday on November 19.
All government offices including industrial establishment of the government and State controlled bodies and all educational institutions in the three constituencies shall remain closed on that day, the government said.
