Pujara showed urgency in his batting to remain unbeaten at 199 as the hosts reached 422 for five at lunch on Day 3 of the match at KSCA Stadium.
The India A captain played some delightful shots as he smashed six boundaries while adding 60 runs he added to his overnight 139 not out.
Pujara, who had paced his innings cautiously, changed gears after he lost his overnight partner Abhishek Nayar (11) and Paras Dogra (7) early in the morning.
India A wicketkeeper Uday Kaul, who had bailed his team out in the Shimoga Test with a superb half century, complemented his skipper well as they put on an unbeaten 63 runs for a sixth-wicket partnership.
Kaul is batting on 16 off 41 balls with one boundary to his credit.
