Presiding over the meeting of Sri Dashmesh Academy trust, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said that the state government has made this provision to make the NDA wing of the academy financially viable from the current academic session.
The state government is committed to provide state of the art training to the students to enable their absorption in the Armed forces and this newly opened NDA wing would prove to be a stepping stone in this direction, an official spokesman said today.
He said that it was the need of the hour that more and more number of students should be enrolled in the school by providing quality infrastructure in the school.
