Punjab: Education department revises EDUSAT programme timings

Punjab's education department has revised the timings of the regular EDUSAT programme during the month of October for the Classes 8th to class 12th.
An official spokesperson said that till October 15, the timing will remain unchanged at 8.15 AM to 2 PM but from 16 onwards, programmes will be telecast from 9.20 AM to 3.15 PM.
Under the EDUSAT scheme, students acquire knowledge in virtual classrooms through programmes which are telecast with the help of satellite.
The official further said all district education officers in the state will inspect the civil works being carried out in the schools under the Rashtriya Madhmik Shiksha Abhiyan.

The work to upgrade various schools is under process and science labs, libraries and art and craft rooms are also being constructed in many schools under the National Secondary Education Mission Authority.
