"Our candidates will fight elections on the common minimum programme with the help of the other constituents of the front including Democratic Swaraj Party. Punjab needs alternative politics based on issues and not personalities," Gandhi told reporters here.
"Before releasing the list, the screening committee had held two meetings at Patiala and Ludhiana under the chairmanship of advocate Harish Dhanda," he said.
The candidates are Gurinder Singh Johal (Ajnala), Gurdarshan Singh (Amargarh), Principal Suba Singh (Amritsar South), Balwinder Fouzi (Amritsar West), Jagtar Singh Gill (Attari-), Maninder Singh Gill (Chabewal), Master Raj Kumar (Lehragaga), Harish Arora (Ludhiana Central), Kunwar Rajan (Ludhiana South), Santokh Singh Aujla (Ludhiana West-), Vikramjit Singh (Majitha), Paramjit Singh (Nabha-), Prof.Mohanjit Kaur Tiwana (Patiala II-) ,Inderjit Singh (Payal-) and Jorawar Singh (Ropar).
