Punjab government transfers 17 IAS, five PCS officers

In a major administrative reshuffle, Punjab government today transferred 17 IAS and five PCS officers, including the Deputy Commissioner of Pathankot.
Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal cleared the file to this effect today, a spokesperson for the Chief Minister's Office said.
Among the shuffled IAS officers are Amit Kumar, Additional Secretary Local Government who has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Pathankot.
Sukhwinder Singh, who was the Pathankot DC earlier, has been made Director Small Savings with additional charge as Special Secretary Finance and Commissioner NRIs.
Varinder Kumar Sharma, who was Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Bathinda, has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) in Mansa.

Sumit Jarangal, ADC, Bathinda has been shifted as the new DC of Sri Muktsar Sahib while Vipul Ujwal, ADC Fazilka, will be the new DC of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.

Bhupinder Singh, DC Mansa has been posted as the new DC of Barnala with Jaskiran Singh, DC Sri Muktsar Sahib, taking over as the new DC of Kapurthala.
Tanu Kashyap, DC Kapurthala has been made Director Industries and Commerce while Indu Malhotra, has been posted as MD, Punjab State Industries Development Corporation with additional charge as MD, Punjab Financial Corporation.
M P Arora, Special Secretary Food and Civil Supplies, will be the new Special Secretary School Education, while A P S Virk, DC Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, will be posted as Special Secretary Civil Aviation and CEO of Punjab State Civil Aviation Council.

Gurloveleen Singh, DC Barnala, has been appointed Director Social Security, Women and Child Development, while Parampal Kaur Sidhu, will be new ADC of Bathinda.
Sheena Aggarwal, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, has been appointed as Bathinda ADC and given additional charge of Chairperson of Improvement Trust, Bathinda.
Sanyam Aggarwal, ADC Gurdaspur will now be ADC Mansa.
Isha, ADC Mansa, has now been posted as Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Bathinda, thereby relieving Anil Garg, PCS, of additional charge.
Sonali Giri, ADC Faridkot, will be Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Moga.
Among the PCS officers who have been shuffled is Jagvinderjit Singh Grewal, DTO Gurdaspur, who will now be ADC there and will also hold additional charge of DTO.
