Punjab industries board constituted

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today gave his nod to set up Punjab Large Industries Development Board and appointed its chairman as well as 10 non-official members for the promotion of large scale industries in the state.
A spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said the file in this regard was cleared by the Chief Minister this evening.
Hari Singh was appointed the Chairman of the newly-formed board, he said, adding that a Vice Chairman and a Senior Vice Chairman would also be nominated from among the 10 non-official members.
The formal orders regarding the appointments would be issued soon, said the spokesperson.
