Punjab police yet to file charge sheet in ASI murder case

"Charge sheet is yet to be submitted before the court as the investigations are still under progress. It may take one more week or so," Police Commissioner Ram Singh said today.

He further said no deadline could be given for the filing of charge sheet.

An alleged Akali Dal leader Ranjit Singh Rana and five others have been arrersted for killing ASI Ravinder Pal Singh on December 5.

Singh was killed in full public view for resisting harassment of her daughter by the accused.
