Abdul Gani of Malakote (Punjab) won the first malli bout in wrestling championship and Shindha of Ludhiana finished runner up in Dangal at Dadwara hamlet of Tehsil Billawar yesterday.
The Second malli bout was won by Binia Meen of J&K Police and Sukha of Amritsar stood runner-up.
Sunny Singh of Bathinda won the third malli bout and Nissar of Doda, J&K finished second in the dangal competition respectively.
J&K Congress General Secretary and Former Minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma gave away the awards at a function yesterday.
More than 40,000 persons from the adjoining villages and panchyats and various places of Tehsil Billawar attended the rural games and witnessed the National legendary wrestlers.
Sharma appealed to the youth to desist themselves from the use of drugs, tabacoo, gutkha, narcotics drugs and take the health diet to make the nation healthy & strong.
