Deepak Rashmi Tripathi, who was the joint director of Adani Power Limited posted in Ahmedabad, was found dead in a hotel room here and a suicide note, which read "I am tired of the life and hence taking the extreme step", was recovered there, SHO Ashok Nagar Bala Ram said, adding wrappers of the drugs were also lying in the room.
Tripathi, who was in the city for some official work, did not reach the airport on time following which another company official based in the state approached his hotel room and informed the police when he did not respond to the calls and did not open the door of the room yesterday. Later, he was found dead in the room, he said.
