A case was registered against Saurabh Mundra, proprietor and tutor of a commerce coaching institute in Vigyannagar area for sending obscene messages and photographs to the facebook account of the victim's mother and circulating the same on mobile messenger service WhatsApp, on May 23, they said.
However, no action has been taken against the accused as the social media records of the alleged crime have not been recovered, Circle Inspector Ramnath Gujjar said today.
The victim, a class 12th student who took admission in the institute run by the accused last year, alleged that Mundra used to follow her to her house and circulated vulgar messages along with her photographs on social media.
