A quack in Margao has come under police scanner for running a clinic without having proper documents.
The complaint against accused Ajit Biswas was lodged on behalf of the state by police sub inspector Girendra Naik after finding that he was involved in medical practice without having any valid degree and license, a press hand out released by police here said.
Biswas claims to give Ayurvedic and other tradition treatment to patients without any proper license from the concerned authorities.
"His act amounts to cheating general public and government by not paying the required licensed fees," said police adding that further investigations are on.
