Quake hits near St Kitts; no damage reported

A magnitude-5.0 earthquake has struck northeast of the Caribbean island of St Kitts, but there are no immediate reports of damage.
The US Geological Survey says the quake struck yesterday afternoon about 77 kilometers north-northeast of St Kitts. It was also felt in Anguilla and the French Caribbean island of St Barts.
St Kitts Emergency Management Director Carl Herbert said he has received no reports of damage.
The quake occurred at a depth of 52 Kms.
