Quarizon makes seed investment in Oi Media

Oi Media, a SaaS marketplace platform, has raised undisclosed amount in a seed round from early stage VC fund, Quarizon.
The startup connects media sellers and buyers to discover, plan and transact in a transparent, accountable and efficient environment.
Alok Kumar Goel, Principal Advisor at Quarizon will join the board and provide strategic mentorship to the startup, a statement said.

Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund invests in Direct Create * Jaipur-based Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund (RVCF) has invested in Direct Create, an online and offline platform that brings together makers, designers and buyers of handicrafts and other traditional items.

Direct Create aims to digitise the process of creation of handicrafts and other traditional items by enabling digital connection and collaboration between artisans, designers and buyers.

It is developing a holistic platform with omni channel strategy for enabling collaboration and reaching out to customers and is aimed to be present on both mobile, web and physical retail, it said in a statement.
"The Indian handicrafts industry is fragmented, with more than 7 million regional artisans and more than 67,000 exporters/export houses promoting regional art and craftsmanship in the domestic and global markets," Direct Create founder Rajeev Lunkad said.
The Direct Create platform operates at the confluence of tradition and technology and creates new avenues for commerce, creativity and innovations that can define a new future for the traditional crafts of Rajasthan and other parts of India, he added.
