Delhi Daredevils batsman Quinton de Kock has been fined five per cent of his match fee for showing dissent to the umpire after being dismissed in his team's six-run loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad here.
"In the Pepsi IPL match in Raipur last evening, Quinton de Kock of Delhi Daredevils was fined 5% of his match fee for showing dissent at the umpire's decision," the IPL said in a statement.
"Mr. De Kock admitted to the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.3 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials) and accepted the sanction," it added.
De Kock was dismissed for 50 but his team failed to chase down a target of 163.
