Net sales of the company increased 2.91 per cent during the quarter under review to Rs 351.60 crore as against Rs 341.65 of the same period in the previous fiscal.
The company in November received price increase in Tamil Nadu, which is one of the largest liquor consuming states in India, Radico Khaitan Chairman and Managing Director Lalit Khaitan said.
Shares of Radico Khaitan closed at Rs 89.15 on the BSE, up 1.08 per cent from previous close.
Dhanlaxmi Bank posts Rs 5 cr profit in Sept quarter * Thrissur-based Dhanlaxmi Bank today reported net profit of Rs 5.01 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 against a loss of Rs 1.85 crore in the year ago period.
Bank's total income as of September 30, 2014 fell to Rs 342.58 crore, from Rs 351.52 crore earned as of September 30, 2013, it said in a filing to the BSE.
On the asset front, bank's gross non-performing assets (NPAs) or bad loans rose to 7.27 per cent during Q2-FY15, from 5.31 per cent in the year ago period. Net NPAs too rose to 4.6 per cent of the total advances during the quarter, from 3.69 per cent a year earlier.

Shalimar Paints Q2 loss at Rs 2.15 crore * Shalimar Paints today reported a loss of Rs 2.15 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 against a net profit of Rs 4.13 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shalimar Paints net income also declined 7.53 per cent to Rs 112.98 crore in the July-September quarter from Rs 122.19 crore in the year-ago period.

* Kamdhenu Ispat today reported a 59 per cent rise in net profit for the second quarter of FY2014-15 at Rs 2.22 crore on higher income.
The company, a construction material manufacturer, had reported Rs 1.40 crore net profit in July-September quarter of the last fiscal, it said in a statement.
Total income of the company rose to Rs 225.53 crore from Rs 193.52 crore a year earlier.
