The Yatra from Kasargod to Thiruvananthapuram, flagged-off last month, has reached Alappuzha district and it would proceed to nearby Pathanamthitta district tomorrow.
"Gandhi would join the padyatra tomorrow for sometime," party sources said. He would arrive in Kochi and would proceed to Alappuzha, sources said.
In view of Gandhi's visit, security has been tightened in the area, sources said.
The 'Yuva Kerala Yatra' highlighting slogans of 'secularism and non-violent society,' was inaugurated by KPCC president and state Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala.
