The new company will focus on distributed solar generation including rooftop solutions, energy storage, e- vehicles & associated infrastructure and solar energy based products, Rays Power Infra Pvt Ltd said in a statement.
Mishra comes in as an equity partner and will be responsible for spearheading the overall management and the day to day business operations of the firm.
CEO of Rays Power Infra Pvt Ltd Ketan Mehta said: "We believe his strong cross-functional expertise in areas including but not confined to, equity and debt financing, fund raising, project development & execution, and commercial and contract management will be accretive and will help growing the new business."
He was also involved in setting up operations of GE Energy Financial Services (EFS) in India and South East Asia region.
