Rahul to hoist national flag at Cong headquarters on I-Day

Rahul Gandhi will hoist the national flag at the party headquarters here on Independence Day on Monday for the first time since he took over as the Congress Vice President three years ago.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who usually hoists the tricolour at the party office, is at present recuperating at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here.
She had taken ill during a roadshow in Varanasi on August 2 and was rushed to the Army Research and Referral Hospital here that night. Next day, she was shifted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
