Railway employee held for raping minor

A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a railway employee in Pokharan city here following which he has been arrested, police said today.
The incident happened last evening when accused Dilip Dixit allegedly lured the girl to the roof of his house located in Railway colony here and raped her, they said adding the victim's parents rushed to her rescue after hearing her cries.
Dixit, who works in the Telecom Department of Railways, has been arrested and charged under section 376 (Punishment for rape) of the IPC and under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act, police said.
