Of these, earnings from goods went up from Rs 69,674.13 crore in 2011-12 to Rs 85,869.02 crore in 2012-13 fiscal, showing an increase of 23.24 per cent, a statement said here today.
Earnings from the passenger segment were Rs 31,896.24 crore as compared to Rs 28,645.55 crore during the same period the previous fiscal, registering an increase of 11.35 per cent, it said.
During the financial year 2012-13, the public transporter saw 8,501.30 million passenger bookings compared to 8,306.17 million bookings in the previous fiscal, showing an increase of 2.35 per cent.
