Dense fog in the northern region led railways to cancel six trains today even as 16 Delhi-bound trains are running behind schedule.
While Jansadharan Express is delayed by 12 hours, Vikramshila and Magadh Express are running nine and seven hours late respectively, according to the Railway Ministry.
Besides the cancellation of 53 trains for 10 days from December 22, railways today announced cancellation of six more trains including Lichchavi Express, Agra Intercity Express, and Farakka Express for the day owing to fog.
The capital recorded the lowest minimum temperature in a decade for the month of December as mercury dipped to a chilling 2.4 degrees this morning.
