Skipper Karn Sharma top scored with a 60-run knock as Railways put on board 200 after being invited to bat at KSCA Cricket Ground.
Arindam Ghosh (36) and Mahesh Rawat (32) were the other two batsmen who out up some resistance against the J&K bowlers.
J&K's left-arm spinner Waseem Raza (4/31) took four wickets and Rohit Sharma two in a splendid show after winning the toss.
However, the batsmen could not compliment the good work done by the bowlers and were bundled out for 157 in 43.5 overs.
It was third successive loss for J&K side as they lost to Haryana and Jharkhand before this contest.

Railways: 200 all out in 49.4 overs. (Karn Sharama 60, A Ghosh 36, M Rawat 32; W Raza 4/31).
Jammu & Kashmir: 157 all out in 43.5 overs. (ID Singh 60, Parvez Rasool 30; A Yadav 3/28).
