The bottles, produced by Railway's PSU IRCTC, were sent with the help of the Air Force and through trains, a Railway spokesperson today said.
He said that railways has also decided to sent 50,000 water bottles daily to J-K.
He said Delhi Division of Northern Railway has also made special arrangements for people coming from the flood affected areas and for those who are visiting the state.
An exclusive waiting room has been earmarked for their use at the New Delhi station, he said.
Help desks have also been opened in Jammu, Udhampur and Katra, the spokesperson added.
