Two persons drowned in a swollen river in Ghazipur while one each died in Sultanpur and Etah in incidents of lightning and house collapse.
Sikohabad got 3 cm rain, Ankinghat, Jasrana and Salempur 2 cm each while Nawabganj, Fatehgarh, Sitapur and Etah received 1 cm rain, the Meteorological department said.
