Rains disrupt flight operations at IGI
About five flights were diverted to Jaipur between 5.55 PM and 6.15 PM after visibility dropped due to heavy rains accompanied by strong winds, an airport sources said.
The airport area recorded 29.4 mm of rains this evening.
The rains also delayed six flights, they said, adding changing wind directions led to piling up of flights.
After a delay of about six days, Delhi was today lashed with heavy monsoon rains. Till 8.30 PM. 15.6 mm of rain was measured at Safdurjung Weather station.
