Light to moderate rainfall occurred in most parts of Himachal Pradesh, the meteorological department said on Tuesday.
Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Bilaspur and Sirmour districts as monsoon was vigorous in the state, Shimla MeT Centre director Manmohan Singh said.
Nahan received the highest 93 mm rainfall from 5.30 pm on Monday to 5.30 pm on Tuesday, followed by Naina Devi (81 mm), Una (36 mm), Shimla (27 mm), Dharamshala (21 mm), Kufri (19 mm) and Hamirpur (4 mm), he said.
The maximum temperatures were 4-5 degrees Celsius below the normal in the state, Singh said.
Una recorded the highest temperature of 31.5 degrees Celsius, while tribal district Lahaul-Spiti's administrative centre Keylong recorded the lowest at 6.4 degrees Celsius, he said.
