Rains lash parts of Haryana, Pb

Light showers today lashed isolated places in Haryana and Punjab causing a slight dip in mercury.
Chandigarh too witnessed rains, giving relief to people from the sweltering heat.
Among other places in the two states, Ambala, Mohali, Kurukshetra and Ropar also received light rainfall.
According to the MeT Department, rain and thundershowers are likely to occur at few places in the two states tomorrow also.
During the past fortnight, heat wave had swept the region with temperatures hovering in the range of 40-44 degree Celsius.
