Rains pound Nashik
Nashik city and parts of the district after a long dry spell.
According to officials in the district collectorate, Trimbakeshwar received 62 mm rain from 12 AM to 8 AM while Igatpuri recorded 65 mm rain during the same period.
Incessant rains also lashed Devla, Satana, Malegaon, Chandvad, Sinnar, Dindori and Niphad tehsils.
4,680 cusec water was released from Gangapur dam at 1.00 pm following heavy rain, while 5,726 cusec water has been released from Darna dam, they added.
