Incessant rains triggered landslides which blocked the roads to Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. The highway to Kedarnath is open only upto Sonprayag.
Rishikesh-Badrinath Highway is blocked at Lambagad, Patalganga, Pagalnala whereas Rishikesh-Gangotri National Highway is blocked at Netala, Laldhang and Gangnani.
Both BRO and PWD are busy clearing the roads.
