Raj: 4452 people arrested in a week for criminal activities

The Rajasthan Police has arrested 4,452 people in the past seven days in connection with various criminal activities in different districts of the state.
At a meeting via video-conferencing, the police headquarters recently directed all district superintendents of police to act against criminals involved in bootlegging, crime against women, betting and illegal arms cases.
Among those arrested, seven people were held for molestation of women, 124 for bootlegging, 253 for betting, and 68 for possession of illegal arms, according to a police statement.
