The actor-turned-politician has expressed his concern to the UP Director General of Police Anand Lal Banerjee over the "deteriorating" law and order in the state, especially in the Ghaziabad district.
Babbar, who had unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha election from the district earlier this year, also talked about the recent murder of a Sahibabad based jeweller, during his talk.
He demanded the early arrest of the murder accused, Babbar's media coordinator here said.
Meanwhile, Congress city unit today staged a protest at the collectorate office here and handed over a memorandum to the district magistrate addressed to the Chief Minister.
