The state government was mulling to prepare green building bye-laws which would be implemented to promote the concept of green building, said Principal Secretary UDH D B Gupta during a meeting with Danish Ambassador to India Freddy Svane.
He also said that the opinion and suggestion of developers association would also be considered before framing the rules.
Gupta said the government would also proceed for signing of an MoU with the government of Denmark for the promotion of green building concept later on, an official release said here.
He said construction of building takes place in his country as per green building rules.
JDA Commissioner Shikhar Agrawal and other senior officials were also present in the meeting.
